Paying
- By card: on a license choose the plan, tick any add-ons, then Subscribe and pay (Stripe Checkout). Renewals are charged automatically and extend the license.
- By invoice (purchase order, check or ACH): ask us; Stripe emails the invoice, net 30, with your PO number. Paying it, online or by check, renews the license.
- Government agencies are tax-exempt.
Manage billing opens Stripe's secure page to change the card, download receipts or update the billing address. Card numbers never reach FiregroundScribe.
Add-ons
Under Billing on a license, each add-on shows added, included in your plan, or Add for $…/year. Adding one charges for the rest of the current period now and renews with your plan; the feature switches on at the computer's next check-in. Remove switches it off and credits the unused time to your next invoice. The Manager's Billing page shows the same.
Invoices
Invoices on a license lists them with Pay (for one that's due) and PDF.
Cancelling
Cancel subscription stops it renewing: FiregroundScribe keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. Keep my subscription undoes it any time before then.
Downloads and versions
Installs update themselves (Manager → Updates). Downloads has every published version and its release notes: download the latest for a new computer, or an earlier one to go back (install it over the current one; recordings and settings are kept). Each installer activates your license by itself.
